Administra tu colección de fotos con Piwigo

We are using Piwigo to let our members spot persons and locations on old photos of our Jazz Club which has been founded in 1978. As this works over the internet, we could establish a good work-flow and keyworded almost all of our archive photos with the help of our 300 members.

Having just returned from a wonderful family trip, we needed to find a way to share our photos while making it easy to distribute them to our friends. Being an open source promotor, unwilling to share photos with GAFAMs and having a web hosting, Piwigo was the perfect solution! Modular as you like, easy to use... Needless to say, for the next trip of this type I already know how we'll share the photos :-).

Piwigo is easy to install and get to grips with. The plugins enable fine-tuning of the gallery with fairly advanced features, such as automatic classification of photos according to tags or user rights management. And of course, it's an open source solution... I'm so satisfied with Piwigo that I regularly suggest this solution to my customers to create their professional photo galleries or photo libraries!

Piwigo gives me the ability to customize the look of my gallery so that it doesn't look like any other, while providing outstanding performance and practical features for both the user and the site administrator. Over the last 20 years, development has never ceased to offer improvements, and the ability to develop plugins is a remarkable asset, as the developer community is active and you'll always find something that works for you, and if you wish you can also ""get your hands dirty"" to customize to the extreme.
